The Fast and Flurry-ous was originally put together a few years back to give local runners the opportunity to race hard in order to tune their efforts before going off to the USATF Cross Country Nationals in February each year. But this year’s event was highly anticipated and talked about due to a newborn rivalry concept between the Boulder Track Club and the Boulder Running Company/ Adidas teams.

Aish, Barlow Win Inaugural Rock ‘n’ Roll Denver Marathon

With cool temperatures and sunny skies, the first Rock ‘n’ Roll Denver Marathon & 1/2 Marathon crowned two past Rock ‘n’ Roll champions in the men’s and women’s marathons. Recent U.S. Citizen Mike Aish won the men’s marathon on Sunday morning, completing the 26.2-mile course in 2 hours, 30 minutes, 37 seconds.

Ethiopia Sweeps BolderBOULDER 10K Titles Again

A very pregnant Sara Vaughn nearly gave birth to her second child when she jumped up in excitement, cheering along with the other 50,000 fans packing the University of Colorado football stadium when she saw husband Brent Vaughn sprint in for fourth place at the 32nd Dick’s Sporting Goods BolderBOULDER 10K at Monday’s Memorial Day tradition.

I spent the weekend at the Rocky Mountain Region R.A.C.E Conference in Westminster. The conference had lectures and panels covering a wide variety of topics for Race Directors including Logistics, Social Media, Partnerships with Retail, Marketing to Women, Creative Sposorships.
