Boulder Creek Path competes for a visit from the Google Trike

Last month, Google asked the public to submit nominations for where to first send the new trike. And the Boulder Creek Path made it to the list of finalists in the “parks and trails” category. Now the paved path that snakes from Boulder Canyon along the creek to flats east of town will compete against paths in California, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Washington for first dibs on the picture-taking bike.

Big Dry Creek East Westminster

With the wind at my back and fresh legs the Big Dry Creek trail lulled me into a false sense of fitness. My legs turned over quickly and my breath was barely audible as I relaxed into the pace.
